INGECON SUN 3TL integration 123Solar

Post by CDN75 » Sun Mar 08, 2020 3:17 pm

Hi everyone, has anyone ever tried to integrate an ingeteam inverter with 123solar? I have an INGECON SUN 3TL and I have searched-found documentation related to mod-bus communication, but perhaps there is someone who has already addressed the issue. Thank you in advance

Modbus/RS485/RS422 is more or less a transportation protocol like TCP/IP is. It mean, it must have a software layer to read/understand data.
It's like getting a webpage, sending files over FTP, via torrent, whatching youtube videos and so on over TCP/IP relies on different application/part.

So if the manufacturer have released the manual to understand their language (or have been reverse ingeneered), you may have a communication application to retrieve the data or you can think to write one ;)
