Effekta ES4600 connection to 123solar

Hi,
I have a question of there is anyone with experience with the Effekta ES4600? Because I'd like to now how tot connect it. Do I need a RS232 to USB converter?

Hi,
123s currently use https://sourceforge.net/projects/modpoll/ that use a serial-to-ethernet converter. I not sure you can get data directly from serial port.

But how do I connect the ethernet to the raspberry tot read out data? Because I user the ethernet as internet connection?

You need a serial to ethernet converter, like a "moxa".. Sorry but i don't now much about modpoll maybe get in touch with mstuetz

Thanks you for the response.
Is there anyone else with some experience?
I connected a power one inverter succesfully but the Effekta is different as I can see so far.

inverter have rs232 port
you may use usb-rs232 converter like

OR
buy rs485 convrter OR ethernet card for web access to invetrter in official effekta store

RASPB PI -->       usb port -- > USB-rs232 converter --> Rs232 inverter port
