I had been using 123solar with an ABB inverter, it went south, with error, I think 301, twas a bad relay.
Chose to replace with an SMA, getting communications with this device has proved difficult, from the installer telling me it would void the warranty to allow
user level access to the inverter, BS, I requested a PUK from SMA, direct, they sent it, I now have access to speedwire, via ethernet direct.
In order to connect and use the data from the inverter, I chose, SBFSpot, config was simple and easy.
Getting the SBFSpot data into 123solar was another issue.
SBFSPot outputs to SBFspot.db via /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot.cfg, this does upload to pvoutput.org, if config'd
In order to connect 123solr to SBF, I made another file:
/usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot_0.cfg
123solar looks for this file, if its not present, no data
I see no way in 123solar to search/write to /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot.cfg
I git cloned the repository from:
https://github.com/jeanmarc77/123solar
On archlinux/arm, many errors.
There were errors, in /var/log/nginx/error.log, relating to missing files, and icons
I was only able to access the admin page, nothing else.
A download of the tar.gz, and unzip, from the website, resulted in a functioning website.
The website tar.gz file and github clone do not appear to be in sync.
The download tar.gz that works= 123solar1.8.4.3.tar.gz
Now to my question.
If I sim link:
/usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot.cfg to /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot_0.cfg
is that enough to create the graphs and visual output?
Thanks for the support, and sorry to drag you back into support.
I did file an issue at github, have you received it?
SBFSpot/SMA
Re: SBFSpot/SMA
Hi Jerry,
Thanks for the feedback, i saw your report on github but i'am afraid to say, i have still to work on it.
I am not really in the mood for coding/playing at this right now.
I believe you have to copy SBFspot_0.cfg into 123solar/config/SBFspot_X.cfg.
Sorry for the annoyance

Re: SBFSpot/SMA
Thanks for the reply, hate to intrude.
Yea, finally figured it out, no worries.
As a suggestion, maybe just unzip your working 123solar to github.
Thanks for taking time to answer
