[SOLVED] Start logger at sunrise

Post by Walter62 » Fri Apr 18, 2014 12:59 pm

Hi Jean Marc,
I reply to your post in our forum, the time zone is correct, in 123s the hour is correct and the same to real hour, in the 123s the sunrise is 6,40 and the inverter is awake at 6,30 but the logger start at the 7,40.
I think the problem are the solar hour and/or legal hour.

Regards

I wonder if it's not due to older values that remain in SHM.
stop 123s, then in a terminal type ipcrm -M 321, start 123s again and let see what happen.
oh.. plz updt to 1.6.5.3 :roll:

Done. Let's see tomorrow.

What ipcrm -M 321 should do?

it clear the SHM used by 123s. Please update to the latest version 1.6.5.3.
I don't have the time/ressource to maintain previous versions.

Hi Jeanmarc,
I have update at 1.6.5.3 and the script answer is:
it is 20140418 18:57 your timezone is Europe/Rome SUNRISE 06:40 - TRANSIT 13:40 - SUNSET 20:41
is not a memory problem because I restart my raspy every day.

see this code in the 123solar.php at row 372

Code: Select all

if ($contalines == 14) { // Wait 60 min after startup to make sure the inverter is fully awake
                    $info = '';
                    include('protocols/' . ${'PROTOCOL' . $invt_num} . '_startup.php');
                    $info = shell_exec($CMD_INFO); // Info file
                    file_put_contents($DATADIR . '/infos/infos.txt', $info);

That's not the problem, it about generating the info file that appear in infos. I won't have time to search, i am away until monday.
What's important in debug, is to look on awake flag in shared memory (#321), it must be to 1 when the sunrised 'till the sunset.

For help your search or improve the new release, at the 18.40 I have restart 123solar, the gauge in dashboard is correctly updated but the csv and graph is not updated.
I wait without problem, take the time you need
