I try with sleep 60 and it seems to be loaded
systemctl --all say:
123solar.service loaded activating start start 123Solar
but after a minute, systemctl -all command, say:
123solar.service loaded inactive dead 123Solar

Can you help a Linux Newby ?

It's ok, it just run once on boot. It's not a daemon.

That come from aurora, no real issue here
mag 20 18:34:12 curl[4440]: [155B blob data]
blob ? :?
mag 20 18:34:12 curl[4440]: Direct access not permitted
There is a problem when you request boot123s.php. That's odd.. You may uncomment the third line : die('Direct access not permitted');
Stop 123solar and request from the terminal curl http://localhost/123solar/scripts/boot123s.php

Thanks but it doesn't tell me the solution :)
You should not leave the die('Direct access not permitted') part uncommented. If someone request that page from the outside, 123solar will restart..

Thanks, Jeanmarc.
So i must re-uncomment the line for avoid external problems.
Now there's no problem, because i'm testing it on my own network lan.
I also have many problems to resolve with 123solar, but it's not the right thread for them.

I also can't get 123Solar to start automatically after the latest update (used to work).
I have the 123solar.service in the /etc/systemd/system/ folder. I do the "systemctl enable 123solar.service" command. I reboot and nothing happens. I have to go to the admin page and manually turn it on.

I don't really know what "systemctl" is but going by some of the previous posts the command "systemctl --all" should give some result. All I get is "Failed to get D-Bus connection: No connection to service manager."

I've looked on google and tried a few things but most of it is over my head.
The access on the 123solar.service file is -rw-r--r--. Is that ok?

I also tried changing the time delay to 60 sec as per other posts but that did nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
What "systemctl status 123solar" returns ?
You may also stop 123solar via the admin, then "/usr/bin/curl http://localhost/123solar/scripts/boot123s.php" to see if it works.

Hi Jean,

"systemctl status 123solar" returns "Failed to get D-Bus connection: No connection to service manager."

"/usr/bin/curl http://localhost/123solar/scripts/boot123s.php" returns "File not found."
In '/var/www/123solar/scripts/' there is the boot123s.php file so not sure which file is missing. /usr/bin/curl also exists.
The command "which curl" returns /usr/bin/curl so I assume there is nothing wrong with the curl.

Not sure how to add a picture to a post so here's a link to a screen shot of the /var/www/123solar/scripts/ folder with owner, group and access shown. Does this look right? https://www.sugarsync.com/pf/D6071553_05250461_656279

Thanks
