Good morning :)

I change the settings in /etc/network/interfaces to a static address
***
auto lo

iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.2.87
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.2.101

allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet manual
wpa-roam /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
iface default inet dhcp
***

and in /etc/resolv.conf
***
nameserver 212.112.34.13
nameserver 212.112.34.12
nameserver 8.8.8.8
***
Then I tried the script to PVoutput and get this message in terminal:
curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'pvoutput.org'

In the Raspberry terminal I can ping the WAN address to my router but none outside i.e 212.112.34.12.
But from a PC it's no problem to ping the outside addresses. There must be som hide setting in Raspberry that make not resolving addresses. Any idea?

Hi,
It might be a better idea to ask on the Rasberry forums ;)

Hi.

I start from scratch and install the Arch-dist as you do in the guide. I'm almost there. :)
I can see the config-php in my browser ( and log in as normal with password etc). But the regular index_mono.php etc (all the php:s in http://myip/123solar) appear only white pages.

Did I miss something?

Certainly, check the debug.php

That's the problem. I can't see any at the page. Only white space. The site 123solar is installed in /srv/http folder. But if I browse to http://myip/123solar/config/config.php I can see the page.

SOLVED! No data to PVOutput.

Post by Micke » Sat Sep 07, 2013 8:04 am

I dont know why, but I have to switch to an another Raspberry Pi and then i works!! Now is PVoutput update. If anyone have an idea why it didn't work with the first RPi i will be glad to hear your theory. I have spent over 2 days to solve this :ugeek:

Hi,
Do you have changed only raspberry or both sd and raspberry?

Only the Raspberry. I use the same SDcard. The only differens was that the new RPi get an another IP from DHCP.

I found the final solution!

The MAC-address in the "old" Raspberry had an IP/MAC binding in my router. I released the binding and now the RPi can talk to internet again

3 days of thinking and trying.... phuuu.
