It could happen, i got a colleague who got a cheap defective converter from ebay. Try communicator from windows perhaps.. :roll:

Same result with a new converter...
Nothing changed in lsusb :|

Drivers ?

Probably, what converter is it exactly ?
What dmesg | tail return when you plug it ?

Pretty odd, i tried several converters of the same type without any issue. (they are btw way cheaper on ebay)
Looking at your dmesg, it seem like your system don't even detect it when plugging in :(

I followed various tutorials for ArchLinux and the manual of Walter62 for Raspbian.

Is it possible to share me a copy of your SD card?

I know, I bought my other converter on Ebay following your advice.
But this time I wanted a fast response (24 hours for delivery).

8 € more, there is a day of waiting against 1-2 months...

I don't own a Rasberry.. You've installed Raspbian, i thought you install Arch ? :geek:

In the first part of post, I had Arch.
But for tests and after 5 tutorials and with the manual of Walter62, I finally install Raspbian without success :cry:
