Re: Temperature

See also same thread in codeplex SBFspot discussions. Posted a HowTo there this morning as there is no modification to make in 123Solar. I had designed SMAspot-to-123Solar from the ground to include the SMA inverter temperature. But SMAspot (2.06 at that time) didn't support the data channel yet. Th...

Re: Problems getting it to work

It looks like SBF added 2 more parameter files (datetime zone & taglist) after SMAspot 2.06a. SBFspot will look for them in the directory the program was run from. To me, these 2 parameter file types would then better copied to (123Solar_subdir/) and not (123Solar_subdir/config/), as I think 123Sola...

Re: 123Solar with SMA inverter and latest version of SMAspot

Problem was reported to SBF.

A real solution would probably to modify the 123Solar message frames a bit (encapsulate them).

Later...

Re: 123Solar with SMA inverter and latest version of SMAspot

The 123Support is identical in all SBFspot (SMAspot) versions. And it is not bound to a particular communications protocol (= is available for bluetooth and Webconnect inverters). Problem is here : ----- Inverter IP address: 192.168.1.63 from SMAspot.cfg SetInverterTime() not executed! We're still t...

Re: Power peak dashboard, Max. instantaneous power1.6.5.3

Fabio, the kind of values you report would make me think of the missing spot values calculation problem Luc (SBF) referred to in the SMAspot forum. Luc forgot to scale inverter raw values before doing the maths => Pac are sometimes 100000x when inverters start to produce. Try first to disable the op...

Re: Gauge alternates between 0 watts and actual production

Bjorn, Did you configure SMAspot to store inverter snapshots to its CSV files ? You could consider temporarily to record all data from the inverter. Wrong dates or values should easy to identify then. I never tried SMAspot 2.2.1 as Luc has not certified it to work when a SMA Webbox is present on the...

Re: 1.6 beta feedback (triphased)

Hi jeanmarc, The data frame sent by SMAspot 2.06a is compatible with both monophased 123solar (<1.6) & triphased 123solar (1.6). The wrapper does pass both $GP/$GV/$GI (inverter) and $GiP/$GiV/$GiI variables (phases) to 123solar worker script. $GP/$GV/$GI values are computed by SMAspot as follows : ...

Re: "Max. instantaneous power" display?

The developer of SMAspot confirmed the bug. People who prefer not to wait for SMAspot 3.0 and continue using the CalculateMissingSpotValues can already use the new subroutine by editing SMAspot.cpp and rebuilding. //Power Values are missing on some inverters void CalcMissingSpot(InverterData *invDat...

Re: "Max. instantaneous power" display?

Max. instantaneous power 5099112 W @ 07:11 Hi Bjorn, Jean-Marc & I continued to try to understand. A suggestion for your 7:11 problem => Edit the smaspot.cfg of your inverters and set : CalculateMissingSpotValues=0 The option is 1 by default. If SMAspot does not receive Pac from the inverter, OR th...
