Post by Spout91 » Sun Jan 08, 2017 3:08 pm

Dear All,

I just change my electric counter to a LINKY, that's very cool. But I got issue on the monitoring since now the counter start from Zero. So metern provide me a negative value.

So, could you tell me how to correct this situation ?

Best regards,

Hi,
How does that happen ? The counter really restart from 0 :?
How do you talk with the Linky ?

The trick would be to create a virtual counter that calculate the difference between previous and current value, then increase the virtual meter. You can look at 'houseenergy' example.

Yes, exactly the counter is now 0.

I spoke about LINKY, because it is the new Electric Counter in France and all electric counter in FRANCE will be changed.

I would like as well to share my experience with the LINKY counter and to tell everyone what's happen when you change your counter.

So, it will be nice that you support this feature (mean take into account the fact the couner could be change).

I will try to do the virtual counter and follow the "houseenergy" example.

It's really odd that the counter restart from 0, how can energy providers can rely on such meter :?

Could you please share your code ? Tell me if you have difficulty to understand 'houseenergy' comapp.
What kind of interface the Linky have ?
Bye
