Thanks a lot jeanmarc, i have made a new installation on my pogo, a have upgraded to latest Arc Linux and the last 123solar. I have a question, what distro I have to select for Pogo Arc_Arm or Arc_Arm_sysstat?
I have a little bug, if I configure PVoutput configuration menu at the exit after the "save" I have a blank page with only the word "Welcome admin".

Best regards W_S , I wish you, also, a good new year.

Hi,
Arch ARM suffice for a pogo (sysstat version is for multicores CPU).
Make sure your imported config files are writable and not corrupted.

That change is quite important:
  • Before pvoutput scripts were under 123solar/scripts
    while now they are moved to config/pvoutput/{consumption,extended,temperature}.
  • Before config/pvoutput/consumption was assuming that meterN installation was in ../meterN folder respect to 123solar, while now you have to configure the script, modifing the first lines of the script.
  • the scripts for external temperature (openweather, wunderground) have to be configured too.
I don't know the reason to move these scripts to config (let us know :) )... however, when I upgraded, I think the update process did not tell me to modify these scripts... and I discovered this looking at missing values in pvoutput pages... :(

Now it is solved! :)
But, insted of having variable to modify in the script, can ve have such variables into admin_pvo.php ?

The aim is to import all personal modifications during the update ;) All personal modifications are in config/ (except styles).

Hi jeanmarc, I solved the little bug of blank page after saving PVoutput setup without adding data editing the file config_pvoutput.php to its original state

Code: Select all

// ### PVOUTPUT.org
$NUMPVO=0;
Where I can find an HowTo for setup PVoutput data and weather forecast?
Would be interesting implementing weather data in daily cvs or on monitoring page.

Thaks in advance W_S

Hi,
It depend on your weather service provider, check into config/pvoutput/temperature example files.
I don't plan any weather logging, if i were to make a weather logger that would be a new app that would surely use a dB approach..

I agree about importing personal modificatons, keeping them in config/.

But config/pvoutput/consumption/meterN.php is composed in two parts: the personal modifications part and the "No edit should be needed bellow" part :)

So I think the main part (you wrote), could stay in programs/ or somewhere else... while the personal modification part should be kept under config/ (e.g. config_pvoutput.php or config_pvoutput_meterN.php )
The main part could import the personal modification with usel require_once/include...

What do you think about that ?

Those config/pvoutput files are examples and should be edited according to each installation.
If you use the update procedure, you'll get your previously modified version.

Hi jeanmarc, i intend only to add two or three value at 5 minutes row on daily csv, like Air Temp, Weather status, Cloudiness. The data can be get from the free API of weather service. Before writing the 5 minutes data the script can read weather API and then add the 2/3 weather data at the end of solar data.

Thanks W_S
