123Solar with rs485 modbus power meter

Post by f.volpato » Mon Nov 23, 2015 9:33 pm

Hello,
I configured 123solar, NOT Metern, with a single-phase power meter RS485 SDM120C . The "test communication" comes back to me:
-------------------------------------------
Communication is OK!
Arrays
I1V : I1A : I1P :
I2V : I2A : I2P :
I3V : I3A : I3P :
I4V : I4A : I4P :
Grid
G1V : 223.2 G1A : 2.51 G1P : 431.8
G2V : G2A : G2P :
G3V : G3A : G3P :
Inverter
FRQ : 353.2 EFF : 0 INVT : BOOT : KWHT : 0.05004
-------------------------------------------
and I believe is correct , having need to read only the live power (the frequency is wrong, i must to verify the reason).
The problem is that in the "index" page of the 123Solar not shows the instantaneous power on the indicator (needle indicator) and no other information. No chart, nothing.
I did not find old topic. Some idea and/or solution?

Very thanks!
F.

Hi,
When you mean 'no charting', you meant no daily graph ?
What is your pooling rate ? The data should be at least 30 sec old to show live things.
AFAIK, there is already a 123solar protocol for the SDM here.

Hi,
excuse me, i explain. The niddle indicator show the live power, correctly but the chart "Avg Power Today", "Avg Power Yesterday" and "Production of the last20 days" not show nothing, empy. I have used the protocol aout your post, https://github.com/gianfrdp/SDM120C/tre ... /protocols .
I not understand where i i'm wrong.

Thanks.

Check the permissions of the data and subfolders. The 'http' user must be able to write in them.

You mean the "data" folder and all its contents? User and Group will be "www-data"?
Thanks.

Hi,
I don't know how you setup your counter but it does not increase, your sdm must only count your inverter production.

Code: Select all

{"data":[{"name":"Invt.1","data":[[1448519100000,0],[1448519400000,0.6],[1448519700000,-0.6],[1448520000000,0.6],[1448520300000,-0.6],[1448520600000,0.6],[1448520900000,-0.6],[1448521200000,1.1],[1448521500000,0],[1448521800000,-0.5],[1448522100000,0],[1448522400000,0],[1448522700000,0],[1448523000000,0],[1448523300000,0],[1448523600000,0],[1448523900000,0],[1448524200000,0],[1448524500000,0],[1448524800000,0],[1448525100000,0],[1448525400000,0],[1448525700000,0.5],[1448526000000,-0.5],[1448526300000,0],[1448526600000,0],[1448526900000,0],[1448527200000,0],[1448527500000,0],[1448527800000,0],[1448528100000,0],[1448528400000,0],[1448528700000,-0.6],[1448529000000,0],[1448529300000,0.6],[1448529600000,0],[1448529900000,0],[1448530200000,0],[1448530500000,0],[1448530800000,0.5],[1448531100000,-1.1],[1448531400000,0.6],[1448531700000,0],[1448532000000,0.5],[1448532300000,-1.1],[1448532600000,0.6],[1448532900000,0],[1448533200000,0],[1448533500000,0],[1448533800000,0],[1448534100000,0],[1448534400000,0.5],[1448534700000,-0.5],[1448535000000,0.5],[1448535300000,-0.5],[1448535600000,0.5],[1448535900000,-0.5],[1448536200000,0.5],[1448536500000,-0.5],[1448536800000,0],[1448537100000,0],[1448537400000,0],[1448537700000,0],[1448538000000,0],[1448538300000,0.5],[1448538600000,0],[1448538900000,-0.5],[1448539200000,0],[1448539500000,0],[1448539800000,0],[1448540100000,-0.6],[1448540400000,0.6],[1448540700000,0],[1448541000000,0],[1448541300000,0],[1448541600000,-0.6],[1448541900000,1.1],[1448542200000,-0.5],[1448542500000,0],[1448542800000,0],[1448543100000,0],[1448543400000,0],[1448543700000,0],[1448544000000,0],[1448544300000,-0.6],[1448544600000,0.6],[1448544900000,0],[1448545200000,0],[1448545500000,0],[1448545800000,0.5],[1448546100000,-0.5],[1448546400000,0],[1448546700000,0],[1448547000000,0],[1448547300000,-0.6],[1448547600000,0],[1448547900000,0.6],[1448548200000,0],[1448548500000,-0.6],[1448548800000,0],[1448549100000,0],[1448549400000,0.6],[1448549700000,0],[1448550000000,0.5],[1448550300000,-0.5],[1448550600000,0],[1448550900000,-0.6],[1448551200000,0.6],[1448551500000,0],[1448551800000,0],[1448552100000,0]],"type":"areaspline"},{"name":"Max","data":[[1448541900000,1.1],[1448552100000,0]],"type":"scatter"}],"title":"Today (0,0 kWh)","subtitle":"Sunrise 07:25 - Transit 11:59 - Sunset 16:33"}

Yes, the solar logger is after the inverter and the power meter is after the solar logger, now the power meter record the solar logger power.
This configuration is for the test modality.
