upgrade from 0.7.6 to .8 poolmeters query

Post by NevD » Wed Mar 02, 2016 8:11 am

I have moved com apps out of metern. Edited old pooler.php to see link to poolmeters in /usr/bin. My system (version 0.7.6) is working OK with these edits and changes.

Looking at poolmeters.py there have been changes that I can not quite figure out. The new poolmeters.py has no provision for "relect" and "le", I can edit for this no problem, but my query is for the live electrical data, the existing system (0.7.6) is writing to a virtual disk if sys.argv is "live".

I have looked through the forum but no-one seems to have mentioned this.

I do not have a meter that has export/consumed data so house energy seems not to be an option for me.

I only have solar production info from 123 and consumption data via "leonardo".

Can you please advise me on this.

Thank you

Neville

The latest poolmeters (20151128) example don't use the ramdisk for simplicity.
Also, i don't use a S0 electric meter anymore, even though i leave the code in arduino ino. You can still add the 'le' in poolmeters.py

Thanks very much I should be OK from here, hopefully :)

I probably should have had this in a different thread, but I posted while I was browsing.
