meterN 0.8

Post by jeanmarc » Fri Nov 27, 2015 5:45 pm

Hello,

meterN0.8 is out, it's featuring the comparison section and correct some bugs. Read carefully bellow to update :

This release break up previous yearly csv but don't worry there is a converter. The new format is a clearer YYYYMMDD in data/meters/*csv.
You are also requested to move the comapps folder from meterN. It will ease further updates and it make it clear, once again, that meterN is not about com apps ;)

Don't forget to recreate links : rm /usr/bin/mycomapp then ln -s /srv/http/comapps/mycomapp.py /usr/bin/mycomapp
You may also may need to chmod +x /srv/http/comapps/mycomapp.py

If you use previous 0.7.8: You can use the updater and follow the procedure.
If you use a previous version : backup your old directory, extract the new version into and import data/ and config/ files.

Then go into http://yoururl/metern/admin/convert.php

Bye

hi jeanmarc
I tried the new release of Metern,
I saw you entered a comparison tab,
I am glad that you have accepted my request, shared by other users,
But I realized that you can compare only months and years of a single meter,
instead it would be interesting to compare the same month or year of two different meter, for example, compare consumption and production.
Metern many use to manage the self consumption and would be convenient to compare consumption with selfconsumption.
You could incorporate in a future release?

Hello,

meterN0.8.1 is released, it allow to compare any meters of the same type.
A bug on monthly report is also corrected.

BTW: I've rework the virtual meter example. Now, the house consumption and self consumption is merged in one script and the data won't lag from 5 min !

Good week-end

Hi jeanmarc,

is there any way to hide a meter from main page graphs?

Even if I delete "show in graphic number" and/or set it to 0 it continue to display anyway. BTW, It's not a dismissed meter.

I also encountered the same problem
I tried to put a value of 0 or null, but is always displayed,
it would take a feature that putting value 0 hides.

Is it possible via manually editing config files?
