Jean-Marc,

I believe i have a idea what this is.
When there is no solar generated, the SMA goes offline, and the 485solar-get does not report anymore (as intended).
Today the last solar logged was at 22:00, and 123solar went offline at 22:11:
#* 2018/06/19 22:11:05 123Solar asleep

Is there something changes in the Logic I did miss?

Many thanks,

Ron

Hi,
I have removed the daemon option, now it should detect you are needing one.
Do you see "Start daemon for SMA(s)" event in log file ? If not, there a problem..

Hi Jean Marc,

I'm trying to find if these lines are in the logfile, but not sure if the following are the ones you expect or not.

These are from a debug log file (repeating true the day):

Code: Select all

Wait for GetDeviceHandles 0
Device detect timeout, or device_nr not found
Detect daemon...
Trying to connect...
No daemon found
   Selected Options:
      debug :1 data :1 events :0
      alarms :0 info :0 comments :0
      help :0 initcommport :1 status :0
      synchrone :0 DeviceNr :0 StartDaemon :0
      DaemonState :0 RequestDaemon:0 monitor :0
      Version :0 ExitDaemon :0
yasdiMasterInitialize /etc/yasdi.ini
yasdiMasterSetDriverOnline
DoStartDeviceDetection asyc ...
Wait for GetDeviceHandles 0

The following process is currently in use, started by 123solar:

Code: Select all

root@raspberry_mk:/usr/share/nginx/www/123solar/data# ps aux|grep 485
www-data 2381 0.0 0.2 1884 1164 ? S 22:07 0:00 sh -c 485solar-get -d -n 0
www-data 2382 0.8 0.3 11640 1616 ? Sl 22:07 0:00 485solar-get -d -n 0
root 2385 0.0 0.3 4364 1908 pts/0 S+ 22:07 0:00 grep 485
root@raspberry_mk:/usr/share/nginx/www/123solar/data#
The following 'grep' does not return anything:

Code: Select all

grep -i sma 123solar.err

Hi,
I asked Roland (over 485solar-get) to give a try of 1.7.3. Meanwhile you could use 1.7.2 to see if all ok ?

Hi Jean-Marc,

I performed a rollback to 1.7.2 (restored the whole 123solar directory, and added the latest/missing .csv files back in the ../data/invt1/csv/)

I will check how this runs, and keep you posted.

Best regards,

Ron

JeanMarc,

After rollback to 1.7.2 123solar did not stop at any moment, and is running just fine day after day.
I am afraid my issue is in the 1.7.3 release, and must be related to something with the 485solar-get method...

Best regards,

Ron

Hi Ron,
Thanks for the feedback, i'll look later on, I will be on holiday for few days. Roland (485solar-get) will give it a try too. I don't know where it stuck
