I have just updated to 1.6.8, graphing OK linked to metern OK, but I cannot get the pvoutput configuration OK.
When it writes to config_pvoutput.php I end up with a empty file. If I edit this file to include the correct information it is overwritten and becomes blank again when I go through admin configuration again.

Your guidance would be appreciated, thank you

I found answer php5-curl not enabled. apt-get would not update (unable to locate file), edited sources list, did update and then was able to install php5-curl.
Then all was good with 123 1.6.8, now for metern update :)...might leave for a few days.

Hi Jeanmarc,
had the same problem, now with your code it works fine !

After I had to update to (SD-card crashed - grrrr), I was appleased to see, that you updated the SBFspot-scripts - thanks a lot !!!

I just had to change the path /usr/bin/ to /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/ in your scripts for the SBFspot-call and 123solar worked out of the box :P

Is my path individual due to my installation of SBFspot or have other users also this "path-problem" ?
(tried first to set a link ln -s ... , but that won't work)

Carry on, Loggers !
Bye, Michael
:?: Der Anwender steht immer im Mittelpunkt – und da steht er jedem im Weg. :!:

The same Problem with V1.6.8.

If I change the path /usr/bin/ to /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/ in file
- SBFspot.php
- SBFspot_check.php
- SBFspot_startup.php

it works.

Why you didn't change it ?

I don't use SBFspot, i bet it depend on the distro. I should rather change full path to a plain SBFspot command.
Users might have to create a link.

No , the PRG is always in "/usr/bin/ to /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/"

You'll need to ln -s /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot /usr/bin/SBFspot then

Hello everyone,

123solar update is out.

- Mostly, it's a rework of 'readings' to allow timestamp data
- Other minors fixes and clean up

HI the latest 123solar and meteN, does not contain the default styles "meterN" and "123solar".
If such styles are used the preference was stored into two user cookies named "user_style".
Because such style does not exists any more, such preference is silentily ignored without applying the default style and without printing the style selection on the various pages.

To solve such situation, the only solution is to remove the selected cookie (e.g. on Firefox, accessing to informaton about that page -> security -> show cookies -> remove cookie).

Such operation is required for every brower on every PC/laptop/smartphone for every installed 123solar/metern, and that is quite annoying. :(

JeanMarc what do you think about these alternative solutions for next releases ? :)
  1. Correct the actual problem, detecting if a style exists, and if it does not exist, remove user_style cookie and offer the default visualization;
  2. enhance the styles management, letting the user to add own styles, which will be preserved among updates: there are various solutions for this...
BTW, html doctype for meterN is still based on HTML 4.0 while on 123solar is HTML5.
