Hi,
What is the status of 123s when it happen ? Is the button 'off' ? Also check the status in the bottom of dashboard (123Solar running or not)
Also, try if your com app respond alone.

Thank you Jean, this morning the problem returned after a day of absence, the button is green, in the part below the main page there is no indication of the status, in the info page, in the log the following historical is reported, from lionea of command giving the command mi da processo looked by another process

#* 08/08/2018 06:14:09 123Solar awake

#* 07/08/2018 20:52:01 123Solar asleep

#1 07/08/2018 20:01:18 Communication error

#1 07/08/2018 19:56:07 Communication error

#1 07/08/2018 19:35:14 Communication error

if kill the 123solar process starts again, a process seems to remain hanging when you stop 123solar at the end of the day

Health and thanks for the ideas

Ok Jean this morning 123solar and 'again frizzed, going to see the active processes I saw that an old command was hung an instance of aurora, probably gives me the idea that at night closing sometimes the process is not canceled aurora, this I noticed this since I changed the 123solar ignition system, going to interrogate based on the sunrise.
can it be an idea for you?

Thank you for the excellent work you do

I never had issue with the aurora process, maybe socat hang ?
I once created a script that clear a stuck process, you can adjust it to your need and create a cron job :

Code: Select all

#!/usr/bin/php
<?php
date_default_timezone_set('Europe/Brussels');
$lockfile = '/var/lock/LCK..sdm';
$mnfile   = '/tmp/metern_log.txt';

if (file_exists($lockfile)) {
    $now = time();
    $ft  = filemtime($lockfile);
    if ($now - $ft > 30) { // 30 sec
        exec("cp /tmp/lastlog.log /tmp/bug$now.log");
        exec('pkill -f sdm120c');
        sleep(2);
        if (file_exists($lockfile)) {
            exec("rm -f $lockfile");
        }
        if (file_exists($mnfile)) {
            file_put_contents($mnfile, '', FILE_APPEND);
            chmod($mnfile, 0666);
        }
        $output = date('Ymd H:i:s') . "\n";
        file_put_contents('/tmp/clearsdm.txt', $output, FILE_APPEND);

    }
}
?>

It seems to work Jean, I noticed something that when the fact happens the night time calculation is not done correctly.
One thing I noticed that I can not update metern, under the icon gives me a question mark and tells me "Time out: can not retreive http://123solar.org/metern/latest_version.php" Thanks for any ideas

Hi Alberto,
I've updated the site to https. Maybe it's the problem, i guess you should manually update.
